TESTING EQUIPMENT
The equipment and systems for air pressure testing come, principally from America. Having thoroughly researched the market grn testing decided that the best available system was the Minneapolis Door Blower System.
This systems requires that the equipment, a large fan, is set into a doorway. The size of the frame is adaptable and fits most standard size doorways. This provides a seal at the point at which air is drawn into the building. The measuring equipment is then connected to the door fan.
The features of the Minneapolis Door Fan include:

The automated performance testing system allows for the operation of the fan from the laptop computer, it automatically adjusts the speed of the fan while simultaneously monitoring the building pressure and fan readings which are then analysed by the TECTITE Software.
DG-700 Digital Pressure and Flow Gauge – This contains 2 precision pressure sensors which provide simultaneous displays of both the building pressure and Blower Door Fan Flow Readings.
TECTITE 3.1 Air tightness Test & Analysis software – It calculates building air tightness test results (including leakage areas, ACH50, CFMSO, building leakage curve) It estimates natural and design infiltration rates, and cost of air leakage.
