TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. All advice, based on either drawings or site visits, does not guarantee that the dwelling will pass the Air Pressure Test and is not considered to be binding in anyway.
  2. No testing will be undertaken without written confirmation, by letter, email or on receipt of a purchase order.
  3. GRN Testing Ltd are not responsible for any damage caused to the premises as a result of testing or leak detection, unless specifically cased by our technicians negligence.
  4. In the event of bad weather, unsuitable environmental conditions or if the dwelling is not ready for testing, a cancellation fee will be charged at the rate of 25% of the agreed fee. The appointment will then re booked and a discount of 5% applied to the original quotation.
  5. The determination of whether or not the conditions are suitable for testing rests solely with our technician.
  6. A test may be cancelled by the client up, because the premises are not ready or the weather or site conditions are considered to be unsuitable up to 36 hours prior to the booked test date with out incurring any charge.
  7. For non-account customers payment in full is due prior to any test being carried out.
  8. For account customers payment is due within twenty eight days of invoicing. Any accounts overdue, at this point, will be charged interest at the annual Bank of England Base Rate + 2%, on a pro rata basis, until the account is bought up to date.
  9. If the condition of the premises is significantly different from the agreed condition for testing, as agreed at the time of quotation, any work undertaken by GRN Testing in order to ensure that the test can go ahead will be charged at the equivalent hourly rate of £45 p.h.
  10. Unless otherwise agreed the client shall ensure that no one enters or leaves the building during the test.
  11. It is the clients responsibility to determine that the site is a safe working environment for our operative. GRN Testing will provide the necessary personal safety equipment and ensure that tour technician is conversant with generic on site safety requirements. It is the responsibility of the client to inform ourselves should there be any specific alteration to this.
